The spark app’s server was down on Tuesday due to the sudden public downloading of the app on such a large scale. After this, Ghosh has tweeted and appealed to the people to be a little restrained. As an alternative to Chinese apps like Leading TicketTalk in the short video making segment, the Spark app has received tremendous response and popularity from the past few days. As an Indian alternative to Tiktok, the Sparkle app has been created by developers from Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Karnataka.

It took them about 2 years to build this app. This app is designed keeping in mind the need and interest of the Indian people. This was said earlier by Sumit Ghosh, Chief of Product of Sparking. This app was officially available on Google Play since November 2018, which is now seen to be of great benefit due to opposition to Chinese goods and services. At that time, the app was downloaded only 1 lakh times, and after TicketTalk was banned, its download reached 1 crore.
