In Instagram on Android, under the IGTV videos, there is a paper plane icon, on which you can tap and share the post to the user. However, after tapping on it, the ‘Add video to Story’ option is not visible.
@instagram all of a sudden, there seems to be a problem with Android users and sharing IGTV posts to their stories. Can we get and explanation and can it be fixed please? People seem to have been reporting but nothing has been done.

@mosseri seems like I can’t share any IGTV (by other users) to my public IG stories on Android. Is this something new? or a bug? thanks

Users can still send IGTV videos through direct messages with friends. Some users say that this problem has come after updating in Instagram, and some have said that they have not received any update, even then they are facing such problem.
