59 Chinese apps banned in India
Recently, the Central Government has banned these 59 Chinese apps under section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act, 2020). The central government has taken this step at a time when the border dispute is going on in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh.

Army officials ordered to delete 89 apps
Apart from this, orders have been given to Indian Army officers and soldiers to delete Facebook-Instagram account. Along with this, a list of 89 other apps have also been released, which are to be uninstalled from mobile. According to the order, everyone has to complete it by July 15.
