Corona Lockdown 2.0: new rules for online shopping will be applicable from April 20

Customers will soon be able to buy goods through the e-commerce platform.

The new guidelines state that goods will be allowed to be transported all over the country except the delimited control zones, hotspots and red zones.

New guidelines were released by the government on Wednesday on the lockdown phase 2 guidelines extended by the center till May 3 due to Coronavirus. It is believed that customers will soon be able to buy goods through the e-commerce platform (Amazon, Flipkart). The new guidelines state that all activities will come into effect from April 20 after giving permission by the states / UTs. This decision has come at a time when the lockdown in India has been extended till May 3 in an effort to stop the infection of coronavirus.

The new guidelines state that goods will be allowed to be transported all over the country except the delimited control zones, hotspots and red zones. This includes the operation of railways for the transportation of goods and parcels, airports for freight movement and the operation of land ports for cargo. It also includes the movement of trucks and e-commerce vehicles for delivery.

The government said that all facilities in the supply chain of essential commodities, whether they are through local shops, retail stores or e-commerce companies, will be allowed to deliver. For this, they have to strictly follow social distancing. It is expected that with the new guidelines, shopping websites and e-commerce websites will be able to take orders and deliver customers.
