Walmart-owned Flipkart said on Wednesday that it was temporarily shutting down its services in India. On opening Flipkart.com, there is a banner on the page, on which a message has been given. It is written, ‘We are temporarily shutting down our services. Your need is first for us, and we promise that we will come back as soon as possible. This is a difficult time, as never before. It has never happened that people had to stay separate from each other to be safe. We request that you also stay in your homes and be safe. We will come back soon, and together we will get out of this problem.
