Under this, Facebook and Instagram users will be able to use thousands of song-music and tunes associated with IPRS as an activity like video, story or music stickers. IPRS said in a statement that the partnership with Facebook fulfills the scope of licenses and royalties.

In such a situation, whenever users of Facebook and Instagram use songs related to it, IPRS will get royalty etc. Apart from this, the artists and members associated with IPRS will help in spreading their talent and creation to millions of users of Facebook and Instagram. IPRS is the representative body of songwriters, musicians, people who own music and songs.

Rakesh Nigam, Chief Executive Officer of IPRS said that this partnership is beneficial for the members of both IPRS and Facebook.
