Instagram’s ‘Reel’ arrives in India, will be able to create a 15-second video like Tiktok – News18 Hindi

Instagram has started testing its new feature ‘Reels’ in India. This feature, which works like TikTok, will start rolling out in India from 7:30 pm tonight. Regarding this feature, some users of India have told that they have got this feature in the app. This new feature has come at a time when the popular app TikTok in this segment has been banned on the orders of the Government of India. The Indian government has removed 59 Chinese apps from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and banned them in India.

Instagram started its testing in Brazil last year and recently expanded it to France and Germany. Ajit Mohan, VP and MD of Facebook India, told that this feature of Instagram has been ready for some time.

Instagram also sees this as an opportunity for creators, as TikTok did. The only difference is that Instagram is already in partnership with the creators and from the time of launch users will first see it through the pages of influencers like Ammy Virk, Gippy Grewal, Komal Pandey and Arjun Kanungo. But VP Vishal Shah of the Instagram product is expected to get the ‘next superstar in India’ through reels.

These ‘reels’ are like TikTok
The reel of Instagram is very much like TicTalk. The difference is that it is not a standalone app, but it is integrated on the Instagram app itself. Reels will also appear in the section of Instagram Stories.

Like Tittock, users will be able to create a 15-second video on it, which can be edited with audio or music track. Also, AR effects can also be used in it. It can also be shared on Instagram’s story and direct message.
