Flipkart has introduced the voice command feature on its platform, which will make it easier for customers to shop by giving commands in Hindi and English.
The company’s technology team has designed ‘Voice Command’ feature based on Artificial Intelligence. It is able to recognize the voice and understand the language. It can be used on the mobile app of Flipkart. Currently it is present on Android and soon it will be brought to iOS and website as well.

The company’s Chief Product and Technology Officer Janardan Venugopal said that as a domestic e-commerce company, we are making the country’s first innovative technology of video and oral instruction system to understand Indian languages. The next goal will be to further improve the voice capabilities for e-commerce. He said that the company’s technical team traveled to different parts of the country to develop this technology. This technology is capable of recognizing the names of various items associated with the grocery.
