WhatsApp has appointed Grievance Officer.
It has been revealed from the website of WhatsApp that under the new IT rules, WhatsApp has announced that Paresh B. Lal, which has come into effect from last week for all social media platforms across the country.
Instant messaging app WhatsApp has been in discussion for a long time. Now WhatsApp has introduced ‘Paresh B. Lal’ has been made the ‘Grievance Officer’ of the country. In fact, it has been revealed from the website of WhatsApp that under the new IT rules, WhatsApp has given Paresh B. Lal, which has come into effect from last week for all social media platforms across the country. According to the website, Grievance Officer can be post boxed at the address of Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Under the new IT rules of the government, social media platforms with more than 5 million users will have to appoint at least one Grievance Officer, a Nodal Officer and a Chief Compliance Officer in the country, and most importantly, all these officers are required to be in India. Must be a resident.

WhatsApp has mentioned on its FAQ page how to contact the Grievance Officer:- As per the information given on the page, users can contact the Grievance Officer in India for their complaints or queries along with:

WhatsApp has stated that to contact the Grievance Officer, please send an email. Write your complaint or your query in this email and also do electronic signature. If you are contacting us about a specific account, please enter your phone number in full international format along with the country code.
According to the information, the Grievance Officer will have to take the complaint within 24 hours. The complaint has to be disposed of within 15 days. According to the new digital rule, objectionable content will have to be removed in 36 hours. Content containing pornography and nudity will have to be removed from the platform within 24 hours.
