In a previous interview with News18, ShareChat co-founder and COO Farid Ahsan stated that the platform had been witnessing steady growth since the onset of the Kovid-19 epidemic. Apart from this, Sharechat’s director of public policy Burgess Malu also told News18 that it is expected that Sharechat can see a steady increase after the ban of Chinese apps.

Speaking to News18, Roposo co-founder and CEO, Mayank Bhangadia said that the platform was downloaded over 10 million times in just yesterday’s day. Roposo, owned by InMobi-backed Glance, claims to have over 125 million users engagements every day.

Bhangadia told News18 that after the ban on Chinese apps, he hopes to have many original content creators on his platform, who were earlier presenting their work on platforms like TicTalk. He also said that such creators also bring their followers with them.
