Customers of the Airtel Thanks App will not have to pay any subscription charge to watch Zee5’s programs and movies.

The user of the Airtel Thanks App has received a great gift amidst the lockdown. The telecom company said that customers of Airtel Thanks app can watch the programs and movies of G5 for free for about two months. Customers got this facility when Bharti Airtel partnered with G5. Under this partnership, users using Airtel’s Thanks App will get ‘free unlimited’ access to Zee5. That is, now the users of Airtel Thanks, sitting at home will be able to enjoy the premium content of Zee5 for free.

A statement has been issued regarding this, according to which the customers of Airtel Thanks App will not have to pay any subscription charge for watching programs and movies of Zee5.

Let us know for the information, to take a subscription like Zee5, customers have to spend 999 rupees for 1 year, 599 rupees for 6 months and 99 rupees for 1 month. But customers will get its facility for free from 4 May 2020 to 12 July 2020. In a separate statement, Airtel said that there is good news for all Airtel Thanks customers. They will get free unlimited access to premium content of Zee5. It is part of the partnership. This limited offer is for some time. Both prepaid and postpaid customers can download the app.

Data consumption has increased during lockdown. Demand for data has increased by about 20 percent. The industry estimates that entertainment apps, including gaming content, have seen a jump of nearly 200 percent. Shashwat Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel, said, ‘We are very happy to work with Zee. Now our customers will be able to get its high quality premium video content. These customers will get it as part of ‘Thanks Rewards’.

Streaming of video content on Bharti Airtel’s digital content platform XStreme has increased by 50 per cent during lockdown. The company has given its information in a statement. People are locked in homes due to the lockdown. In such a situation, people are resorting to either television or streaming services to entertain them.
