It has been told in an African report that the unofficial version of WhatsApp means that fake apps are becoming very popular in some countries. Bryan Pon, co-founder of Caribou Data, says that the biggest reason for the popular WhatsApp mods like ‘Whats App mods’ are their features. These fake apps provide more advanced features than the original WhatsApp, due to which users are more attracted towards them.

Apart from this, the most popular one is GBWhatsApp. This is an app that looks like WhatsApp, which allows users to view their status even after it has been deleted, as well as deleted messages in it. Not only this, it allows to send 50MB files, while only 16MB files can be sent in real WhatsApp. Apart from this, ‘WhatsApp Plus’ is also one of the third party apps, as well as two apps named ‘YoWhatsApp’ and ‘FMWhatsApp’, which are unofficial WhatsApp. According to the report, these two are very popular in countries like Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa.
Important thing- The WhatsApp policy states that WhatsApp’s third party app, WhatsApp and WhatsApp Plus, allows WhatsApp users to get a temporary ban. So if you also use such apps, then be careful.

According to the information on the WhatsApp FAQ page, the company does this because these two are third party apps, not the official version of WhatsApp. These unofficial apps are made by third party and it violates the rules of WhatsApp and WhatsApp does not support them.
