Kochi. Techgensia Software Technologies, a Kerala-based company in the information technology (IT) sector, will introduce its innovative product video conferencing app ‘WeekSol’ next month. The company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) gave this information here on Saturday. The company claims that video conferencing app WeekSol is a multilingual solution. It is said to be the first Indian app of its kind to provide better voice and video quality.

The company was chosen the winner in the ‘Grand Innovation Challenge’ organized by the central government. The competition was organized by the central government to develop indigenous video conferencing solutions in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic.

In a statement released by Infopark, the company’s CEO Joy Sebastian said that the initial goal is to create 1 million users. He said that the company is also targeting the business-to-business (B2B) market with a focus on tele-medicine and education.

Sebastian said, ‘These two fields (tele medicine and education) are in great demand in the world system after Kovid-19. The epidemic has made both of them e-centric. ‘ He said, ‘WeekSol provides the facility of 80 active and 300 inactive participants at a time. However, it will not be free after a time. ‘The company has received an amount of Rs 1 crore from the government after being declared the winner for this app in the’ Grand Innovation Challenge ‘. With this, the company has come in a position to serve in central government offices across the country. Sebastian said about this, ‘Our role is to provide technical support. We will install the app for them. The government will have cloud and the rest will be handled by the government.
