Here’s how to shut down on desktopIf you are running desktop Facebook, then first of all go to Settings to turn off Auto Play Video. After this, click on the videos in the menu on the left. Here you will get the option of Auto-Play Videos. In this, you have to select NO instead of the default, after which the auto video play on your Facebook will stop.

This is how you can turn off Android and iPhone
For this, first open your Facebook app, then click on the menu in the bar below and then go to Settings & Privacy and click on Settings. After that go to Media and Contacts and tap on Videos and Photos.

After this click on Autoplay, it will see three options like On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections, On Wi-Fi Connections Only and Never Autoplay Videos, out of which you will have to select Never Autoplay Videos. After this, videos on your app will not auto play.
