After the controversy related to privacy, Zoom has announced a new Zoom 5.0 (zoom 5.0) update with security and privacy. It is part of the company’s 90 Days Security Plan. Encryption has been added in the new update Zoom 5.0, so that it can be made a secure and private option for video and audio calls. Let’s know what’s new in Zoom 5.0 … The primary purpose of the Zoom 5.0 update is to add support for AES 256-bit GCM encryption. Simply put, Zoom will encrypt the data through 256 Bit Key, so that zoom bombing can be prevented.

If cybercriminals or some unknown person posts offensive content on zoom through hacking, then it is called ‘zoom bombing’. Hackers do this type of action using the screen sharing feature. New encryption of Zoom is made available for Zoom Meet, Zoom Video Webinar and Zoom Phone.
