WhatsApp continues to introduce new features for users in the days to come, and now the messaging app is working on another new feature. According to information received from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is performing beta testing of a feature that is associated with QR code scans. It was told that it will be easy for the users to scan the QR Code scan and add contacts to their list.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, a website tracking WhatsApp beta, QR code scanning was first introduced in the iOS beta and now the app is being rolled out to the Android beta. This feature is available in 2.20.171 version of the app. Android Beta users will be able to find their own custom QR code in the Settings section of the app at the top right in front of the name.

Let us know that the users who have enabled this feature will be able to show their own QR code to others and scan the code of other WhatsApp account. The beta notes state that if users now decide not to share their number with anyone else, the QR code can be canceled.

At the moment, no information has been received as to when this feature will be made available to all users, but it is expected that it can be offered to all users in the next few days.
