Burger King’s Halloween-themed Whopper is set to debut next week

According to a popular food blogger, fast-food giant Burger King plans to spice up its signature Whopper before Halloween.

The ‘Ghost Pepper Whopper’ menu will be on select Burger King locations on October 10 before a nationwide rollout by October 13, according to an Instagram post by Markie DeVoe, an influencer known for breaking special fast-food news.

As Devo said in his post, the burger has an “orange bun, spicy queso, crispy jalapeos, bacon, ghost pepper cheese, and a whopper patty.” “I don’t know about you all, but an orange bun sounds like a great time.”

This wouldn’t be the first time the Florida-based chain tries to scare away some extra profits with Halloween-themed burgers. In 2015, Burger King served its classic flame-grilled patty on a black bun, and in 2018 it released the “Nightmare King” Whopper on a green bun, which reportedly promoted nightmares.
