Petrol-Diesel Price Today: New rate of petrol and diesel released, know what the oil companies have changed

Petrol-Diesel Price TodayThe long-standing stagnation in the prices of petrol and diesel continued today. According to the new rate released today, there is no difference in the prices. Due to the steep fall in crude oil prices in recent days, the rate of petrol and diesel is also expected to come down.

Experts believe that a decision can be taken by the oil companies in this regard. The prices have remained stable since the third week of May. In such a situation, if the prices of petrol and diesel are reduced, then the users can get a big relief.

Crude oil prices expected to drop

Crude oil prices are believed to be the major reason behind the expectations of reduction in petrol and diesel rates. In fact, the crude oil prices have come down significantly during the last few days. On August 31, the price of WQI crude was at $ 96.77 per barrel and Brent crude at $ 104.7 per barrel, but on Friday there was a sharp fall in the prices.

On Friday, the price of WBE TI crude reached $ 87.31 per barrel. At the same time, Brent crude fell to $ 93.01 per barrel. On Tuesday morning, the price of Dubuque Ti crude was down at $ 88.84 per barrel while Brent crude was seen at $ 95.18 per barrel.

Due to the fall in crude oil prices, the rate of petrol and diesel is also expected to come down. Experts are also optimistic about this expectation. Now it remains to be seen when the oil companies take a big decision in this regard.

Price change in only two states

There has been no difference in the prices of petrol and diesel since the third week of May. Meghalaya and Maharashtra are the only two states in the country where prices have changed. In Meghalaya, there has been an increase in prices, while consumers in Maharashtra have benefited from the reduction in prices.

In the month of May, after the reduction of excise duty by the government, the price of petrol had fallen by about Rs 9.5 and diesel by about Rs 7. There has been no change in the prices since then.
