Brahmastra Day 4 Box Office Report: Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in lead roles and Shah Rukh Khan also making a cameo appearance broke records on its opening day as it was the first of a Bollywood film. The film registered a decent growth of 15 per cent on Saturday and 5 per cent on Sunday, thus making Brahmastra a comfortable Rs 100 crore business at the box office weekend. These figures are the highest for any Bollywood film after the Corona epidemic.
The film has garnered a stellar weekend run with a collection of Rs 119 crore across all languages. The film did well on its first Monday as well. Where the film earned 14.25 crores and South also earned about 2 crores in the dubbed language, which together took Monday’s total business of 16.25 crores. Thus the film has cleared the Monday litmus test as the film has done well even after coming to a stellar level on Fridays and on weekends. The film Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva with its stellar performance is making sure that it becomes the highest grossing Hindi film of this year in India. Apart from this, the film is also doing amazing in foreign countries where it is expected that it will cross $10 million by today i.e. Tuesday. Made on a budget of around Rs 450 crore, Brahmastra topped the box office last weekend and this is only the third time that an Indian film has managed to do so after Master and RRR.
