Punjabi Singer Jaani: Now this Punjabi singer’s life is in danger, letter written to CM Bhagwant Mann for safety

Death threat to Punjabi singer Popular Punjabi singer and lyricist Jaani has reportedly received death threats. And now they are demanding police protection. Currently, the lyricist has apparently written to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, urging him to enhance his security after he allegedly received death threats from gangsters. Earlier, famous Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala was assassinated after he received threats.

According to media reports, Jani has also written a letter to Punjab CM, ADGP and SSP Mohali regarding this matter. In the letter reached to him, Jani has reportedly written that he and his manager Dilraj Singh Nanda received several threatening calls from anti-social elements, gangsters etc. and the same matter was also discussed with the SP Mohali, state administration.

“Due to such threats, I have already relocated my family abroad and my manager and I are going through even worse mental pressure due to these threats,” the letter said.

Sidhu Musewala murder

It also mentions the brutal murder of famous Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala which took place in broad daylight. He was shot dead by assailants in Mansa district on May 29, 2022, leaving his family, friends and celebrities in a state of shock and deep sorrow.

Salman Khan has also received threats

Meanwhile, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had also applied for a gun license after receiving a death threat letter. The threatening note reportedly said, “Your condition will be like Moosewala too.” He reportedly received threats from Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gangs.

Significantly, his security has been increased and he has also been issued arms license.
