A superhero sendoff will be seen in 2023.
On August 1, The CW announced that glow will end with its upcoming ninth season. The next installment, which will be shortened to 13 episodes, is expected to hit the network next year.
“Nine Seasons! Nine Years of Saving Central City, taking viewers on an emotional journey filled with heart, humor and spectacle,” Executive Producer Eric Wallace said in a statement to tv line, “And now Barry Allen has reached the starting gate for his last race.”
Wallace thanked the show’s cast and crew for “making it”glow Such an unforgettable experience for audiences around the world.”
