Under the bonnet, the company operates with two engine options, including a 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine that generates 100 bhp power and 148 Nm torque. This engine option is offered with mild hybrid technology. Apart from this, there is another 1.2 liter dual jet petrol engine which generates power of 90 bhp and torque of 113 Nm. This engine option is operated with five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission. Whereas the turbo petrol engine has the facility of five speed manual and five speed MT gear box.

Apart from this, the company uses 1.2 liter petrol engine in its CNG version which generates power of 77.5 bhp and torque of 98.5 Nm. In the CNG option, it only gets the facility of five speed manual gearbox.

Maruti Fronx Mileage

Maruti It claims that its 1.0 liter engine gives a mileage of 21.5 kmpl with manual transmission, while the automatic version gives a mileage of 20.1 kmpl.

The 1.2 liter with manual transmission provides a mileage of 21.89 kmpl while with the AMT gear box it provides a mileage of 22.89 kmpl.

Apart from this, the CNG version provides the highest mileage of 28.51 kmpl.

The price of Maruti Frontex in the Indian market starts from Rs 7.46 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.3 lakh ex-showroom. Maruti currently has 22,000 units of it pending delivery.

This unique vehicle of Maruti does not compete directly with any vehicle in the Indian market.
