* First of all Google Pay and Fastag account have to be linked to each other.

* For this you will have to open Google Pay app, after that click on New option in it.

* After clicking on the new option, you will see the bill payment option, in which Fastag recharge will also be mentioned.

* After selecting the Fastag option, you will have to select the bank which had issued the Fastag.

* After this, on the next screen, enter the vehicle number and proceed with the payment with bank account option.

* After doing this, your Fastag will be recharged, and you can also check the Fastag balance in it.

what is fastag

It is a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag, through which automatic payment takes place at toll plazas. It is installed on the windscreen of the vehicle, which is linked to the bank account or payment wallet of the National Highways Authority of India. After installing Fastag in the vehicle, the vehicle owners do not need to stop at the toll plaza to pay the money and as soon as the vehicle passes, the money is automatically deducted from the account through Fastag.
