Samsung:South Korean smartphone maker Samsung launched foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 last month. The company is getting strong demand for these smartphones in India. The company has received 1,50,000 pre-bookings for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said, “There is strong demand for Made in India Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. We are confident that the strong demand for these foldable smartphones will allow us.”

The demand for these smartphones has increased by 1.4 times in tier 1 and 2 cities compared to last year. Along with this, their demand has also increased at the same pace in tier 3 and 4 cities. BL Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are available at around 10,000 stores in the country. The company has rapidly expanded its distribution network.

The sale of these smartphones started on August 18. These will update the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 released last year. These have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC as the processor. Samsung has announced some offers and discounts on these smartphones. The company has announced a bank cashback of Rs 7,000 and an upgrade offer of Rs 9,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively on the 256 GB storage variants of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Apart from this, customers who do not choose the EMI option during purchase will be given an upgrade offer of Rs 11,000 and Rs 9,000.

The 256GB storage variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will bring down the price to Rs 1,38,999 when purchased with an upgrade offer of Rs 9,000 and a bank cashback of Rs 7,000 and a nine-month EMI option. The base version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 1,54,999. Apart from this, the 512GB and 1TB variants are priced at Rs 1,64,999 and Rs 1,84,999 respectively. They can be made available in Cream, Icy Blue and Phantom Black colours. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is priced at Rs 1,54,999 for the base version of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Apart from this, the 512GB and 1TB variants are priced at Rs 1,64,999 and Rs 1,84,999 respectively. They will be made available in Cream, Icy Blue and Phantom Black colours. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is priced at Rs 99,999 for the base version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and Rs 1,09,999 for the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. These are being made synthetically at Samsung's Noida manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh.
