Amit Shah J&K Visit: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Jammu and Kashmir for the second time after the abolition of Article 370 and 35A. This visit of the Home Minister is being considered very important amid speculations that elections will be held in the Union Territory. Shah first offered prayers at the famous Vaishno Mata temple today. For the first time as Home Minister, he had darshan of Mata Rani. He will launch several important projects in Jammu today.
Amit Shah’s rally in Rajouri
Addressing the rally in Rajouri, Amit Shah attacked the opposition fiercely. Gadgad Shah with the slogan of Modi – Modi said, your ‘Modi Modi’ slogans are the answer to those who were against Article 370 and were saying that if it is abolished there will be bloodshed.” He further asked that If Article 370 is not removed then why would there be any tribal reservation. On the disputed electoral delimitation, Shah said, earlier the delimitation was done for their families only, but after the new delimitation, the hill seats have been increased. Actually former CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has been continuously attacking the Center over the new electoral delimitation.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reached Jammu on Monday evening itself. He spent the night here. Earlier there was also a round of meetings here. Amit Shah met representatives of Dogra, Bakarwal, Pahari Samaj and Sikh community and listened to their views. According to information received from sources, two big leaders of J&K political parties PDP and National Conference also met Shah. It is said that PDP’s Rajouri district president Tamim Dar and senior National Conference leader Shafqat Mir have proposed to Shah to join the BJP, on the condition that the central government will grant Scheduled Tribe status to the Pahari community.
Let us tell that Rajouri, Poonch, Handwara and Baramulla of Jammu and Kashmir have a large population of hill people. The people of this community have strong interference in 10 assembly seats in 5 districts of Jammu and Kashmir. They have been demanding for a long time that they should also be included in the ST category.
