Bharat Jodo Yatra Day 8 LIVE: The fourth day of the Kerala leg of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Padyatra began on Wednesday morning. The journey, which started after 7.30 am from Navaikulam Junction, witnessed a huge crowd. After spending three days in Thiruvananthapuram district, the Yatra will enter the state’s Kollam district today. Before starting the yatra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday visited the Sivagiri Math to pay tribute to the renowned social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. At the Sivagiri Math, Gandhi met the masters there and prayed for the saint reformer.
The 150-day walking march was launched from Kanyakumari in neighboring Tamil Nadu on September 7 and will cover 12 states and two union territories. The Bharat Jodi Yatra, which entered Kerala on the evening of September 10, will pass through the state covering a distance of 450 kms, touching seven districts over a period of 19 days, before entering Karnataka on October 1.

Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that the spirit of Bharat Jodo Yatra is to bring Indians together irrespective of religion, community and remind them that it is one country and the country will be successful if we stand together and support each other. Be respectful.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi resumed the eighth day of the party’s India Jodi Yatra from Navayakkulam in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala on Wednesday morning. Before starting the march from Navayakkulam, Rahul Gandhi paid tributes to social reformer Sree Narayana Guru at Sivagiri Math in Kerala. The Yatra is in its Kerala phase and will pass through different parts of the state in the next 17 days.
