Spring News: A shocking case has come to light from Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) of Bihar. The BA student here has got more than the maximum marks. In the paper of 100 marks, he was given 151 marks. When this thing was revealed, all the people of Yo University were stunned.
What does the student have to say?
The student told that he is a student of BA Part 2. In the result released by the university, he was given 151 marks out of 100 in Political Science paper (4). Please note that this is an optional mark sheet. Despite this, the authorities should have checked it before releasing it.
University said – this is a typing mistake
On receiving the complaint, it was said from the university that, ‘It was a typing mistake.’ However, the revised mark sheet was issued by the university administration. Let us inform that LNMU had released the second year result of graduation on 30th July, after this the result of a second year student has become a topic of discussion after getting more than the maximum marks, it is becoming very viral on social media.
Another student got ‘zero’ marks
Not only this, another student (B.Com Part-2) was given zero marks in Accounting and Finance (Paper-4). After this, when the student complained about this, the university administration again reiterated the point of ‘typing error’. However, the marksheet of this student was corrected. After this the said student was promoted to the next class.
What is the registrar to say?
On this whole matter, Prof Mushtaq Ahmed, Registrar of the University said that, ‘On receiving the complaint of the students, the mark sheet was removed from the official website by the data center. After rectifying the typing mistakes, new marksheets have been issued to two students.
