Commonwealth Games 2022: Indian wrestlers showed their might to the world on the eighth day of the Commonwealth Games. Indian players dominated the Commonwealth Games by winning 20 medals till the seventh day. But on the eighth day of the Commonwealth Games held on Friday, Indian wrestlers brought glory to the country by winning 6 medals. Now India has come in top-five in Commonwealth Games 2022 Medal Tally. So far in the Commonwealth Games 2022, India has won a total of 26 medals, which include 9 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals. In the Commonwealth Games 2022 being played in Birmingham on Friday, 6 medals were received in wrestling together. For India, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik and Deepak Poonia hoisted the tricolor by winning the gold medal. Wrestler Anshu Malik won silver and Divya Kakran and Mohit Grewal won bronze medals.
