Gorakhpur: CM Yogi was seen in a special dress, this is how special worship of Guru Gorakshanath was done

Gorakhpur: On the occasion of Vijayadashami festival in Gorakhnath temple, Gorakshapeethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed a special worship-ritual of Shivavatari Guru Gorakshanath. In the special dress of Gorakshpeethadhishwar, CM Yogi, following the tradition of the back, worshiped Shrinath ji lawfully from 9 am on Tuesday.

This special puja started from the Shaktipeeth at Gorakhnath temple where the Navratri Pratipada rituals were going on. After worshiping the altar in Shaktipeeth, CM Yogi along with other sages of the temple reached the main temple of Shrinath ji amidst the Vedic chants of the Acharyas and Vedpathi students of Sanskrit Vidyapeeth and worshiped him by law, performed aarti.

Along with this, special worship of all the deities revered in the temple was done. The Chief Minister also circumambulated Shrinath ji and all the Deity Deities. During this, the entire temple complex was shaking in Bhakti Sagar with the echo of the traditional special musical instruments of Nathpanth, Hawthorn, Conch, Dhol, Ghant, Damru.

Devotees applied tilak to Gorakshpeethadhishwar

On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, a traditional Tilakotsav program was organized in the Tilak Hall of Gorakhnath Temple on Tuesday afternoon. On this occasion, sages and saints, devotees bowed down to Gorakshapeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath by applying tilak.

Gorakshpeethadhishwar also blessed him by applying tilak. In the Tilakotsav program, yogis, saints, priests, priests, etc., associated with the peeth first applied tilak to Yogi Adityanath in the midst of Mangal recitation. According to the specific tradition of Nath Panth, bowed down to him. After that it was the turn of the householders to apply tilak.

Among those who took blessings by applying tilak to CM Yogi, the head priest of the temple Yogi Kamal Nath, Yogi Shantinath, Yogi Dharmendranath, Yogi Ramnath, Santosh Das alias Satua Baba, Mahant Ravindra Das, State Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, MP Ravi Kishan, MLA Vipin Singh, BJP Kisan Morcha State President Kameshwar Singh, Ramesh Singh, Awadhesh Singh, Brother Upendra Singh, Mahayogi Gorakhnath University Vice Chancellor Major General Atul Bajpai, Ayush University Vice Chancellor Prof AK Singh, Prof Ravi Shankar Singh, former Vice-Chairman of State Women’s Commission Smt. A large number of saints and devotees including Anju Chaudhary, Vikram Chaudhary, former block chief of Pipraich Anand Shahi, former MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh were involved.
