Heavy Rain in Delhi : The national capital Delhi is in the grip of heavy rain. The rain that started on Thursday continued till Friday morning. Due to the torrential rains in the entire Delhi-NCR (Delhi-NCR Rain Weather), normal life was disturbed. Cars kept rolling on the roads.

Long traffic jams were witnessed at many places due to waterlogging and falling of trees. Such unusual rainfall at the end of September is shocking. Traffic was affected in Delhi-NCR due to heavy rains. In Gurugram, queues of vehicles were seen for 5 km on the highway last evening. This jam was on the way from Delhi to Jaipur on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway. Delhi Police had to take to Twitter to guide commuters about the traffic situation. In view of heavy rains, an advisory for work from home has been issued in Faridabad and Gurugram.

School closed till 8th on Friday

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Delhi NCR on 23 September. In view of this, the administration has ordered the closure of schools from nursery to class 8 in Noida and Greater Noida today i.e. on Friday. Apart from this, schools and colleges in Ghaziabad and Gurugram have also been ordered to remain closed.

What is the opinion of meteorologists

Let us tell you that the date of complete withdrawal of monsoon in Delhi is September 25, but if the meteorologists are to be believed, now it may be a little late. Meteorological Department officials said more rains may occur in the national capital in the last week of September. The department has said in its alert that visibility will be low, due to which traffic may be affected. Heavy rains can cause damage to unpaved roads and weak structures.
