This organization took responsibility

Jammu Zone ADGP Mukesh Singh told that he has received a letter, in which it has been claimed that this attack has been done by the terrorist organization Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force. The journey of Baba Amarnath passes through Ramban. Therefore, the security agencies also suspect that the terrorists were trying to target the pilgrims going on Amarnath Yatra.

Let us tell you that the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir has always been very sensitive in terms of terrorist activities. Last month itself, the security forces busted a suspected hideout of one of the terrorists here. The security forces had recovered a huge amount of ammunition and explosives from here. This hideout was revealed in a joint operation by Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Two landmines destroyed in Poonch

On Monday, the Army discovered two landmines during a search operation in Poonch district, which were later destroyed. According to media reports, 49 RR of the Army had seen two anti-personal mines at Kerry Top Balakot in Gursai Mendhar area. Later the Bomb Disposal Squad destroyed it without any damage. Earlier on Saturday, July 31, security forces had killed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Irshad Ahmed Bhat in an encounter in Baramulla district.
