Maharashtra News: Uddhav and Shinde faction face to face over Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park, BMC in confusion

New Delhi: The war between Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and Shinde faction over the Dussehra rally to be held at Shivaji Park is becoming increasingly intense. Both the groups are adamant to hold a Dussehra rally on this ground. Both the groups have applied to the BMC to hold a rally on this ground on the day of Dussehra, but BMC has not yet taken any decision on these applications. Confused, BMC has started consulting legal experts on the issue. The BMC is well aware that there is bound to be a ruckus after the application of any group is rejected. Both the factions are claiming to be the real Shiv Sena and due to this the confusion has increased further.

Meanwhile, Shinde Gutko has been given permission to MMRDA Ground in Bandra Kurla Complex as an alternative arrangement. Permission for this ground was also sought from the Uddhav faction for alternative arrangements, but after the Shinde faction is given permission, there is bound to be a ruckus. The application for an alternative arrangement was made so that the workers coming from all over the state would not have to return if Shivaji Park was not available. No decision has been taken yet regarding Shivaji Park.

The real Shiv Sena’s war between the two factions

On the other hand, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has held a big meeting of party officials regarding Dussehra rally. In this meeting, claiming to be the head of the real Shiv Sena, where the Dussehra rally of Shiv Sena will be held in Shivaji Park itself and the party officials should get involved from now to make the event grand.

On the other hand Shinde faction is calling itself the real Shiv Sena after the revolt in Shiv Sena. The preparations for Dussehra rally have also been started by Shinde faction. Due to this, the dispute and verbal war between the two factions is becoming increasingly intense.

Rally announced at the traditional place

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said in a meeting of party office-bearers held at Shiv Sena Bhavan that attempts were made to break the party in the past, but these efforts proved to be unsuccessful. This time also the conspiracy to break the party will not succeed. He called upon the office bearers of the party to be active at the grassroots level and mobilize to strengthen the organization.

He said that the annual Dussehra rally will be organized by the party at the traditional place of Shivaji Park. Party officials should start making contact with the workers in connection with the preparations for this rally. Terming those who rebelled against Shiv Sena as thugs, he said that Shiv Sena has been raised by the dedication of many generations and they are capable of facing these troubles.

Shinde faction is also not ready to bow down

On the other hand Shinde faction is also not ready to bow down on the issue of Dussehra rally. Claims have been made by Shinde faction for organizing Dussehra rally in Shivaji Park, claiming itself as the real Shiv Sena. An application has also been made by Shinde faction in this regard in BMC. The leaders of Shinde faction say that when Uddhav Thackeray is not accompanied by MPs, MLAs and workers, then how are they claiming the real Shiv Sena.

Preparations have also been started from Shinde faction for Dussehra rally. After the applications made by both the groups, now trouble has arisen in front of the BMC. BMC believes that there is bound to be a ruckus after the application of any group is rejected. In such a situation, legal experts are being consulted on this issue by BMC.

Narayan Rane’s attack on Uddhav

Meanwhile, Union Minister Narayan Rane has also made a big attack on Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. He said that there is no basis for Uddhav Thackeray faction to claim Shivaji Park for Dussehra rally as Shinde faction is the real Shiv Sena. He said that only Shinde faction would get a chance to rally at Shivaji Park and in the coming days the party’s election symbol bow and arrow would also belong to Shinde faction.

Narayan Rane, who was once a prominent leader of Shiv Sena said that after I quit the party, now the Uddhav faction has reached such a situation that it is not even getting the ground for the rally. He said that when the people of Shiv Sena are not with Uddhav, then they should give up the dream of rally.
