Mamata Banerjee: Eyes on Mamta’s Delhi tour, will plan strategy with opposition leaders

Mamata Banerjee News : After the expansion of her cabinet in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is going to reach Delhi today. Mamta Banerjee will camp in the capital for four days. During this, apart from meeting President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she will also meet many opposition leaders. During her stay in Delhi, Mamta will also participate in the meeting of NITI Aayog.

By the way, all eyes are on whether Mamta meets Congress President Sonia Gandhi during her stay in Delhi or not. By the way, till now no program has been fixed for Mamta’s meeting with Sonia in Delhi.

Will meet CMs of many states

Mamta is constantly on the target of BJP after the former West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee got implicated in the teacher recruitment scam. For the first 4 days, he did not take any action against Partha Chatterjee, but then along with removing him from the post of minister, he also freed him from all the posts of the party. Mamta will reach Delhi for the first time this afternoon after Parth’s case is exposed. Mamta can also visit Parliament House during her stay in Delhi. Mamta has a program to meet all the party’s MPs today.

Mamta is scheduled to meet the Chief Ministers of many states on Saturday. TMC sources say that Mamata will meet the Chief Ministers of Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Delhi to discuss the opposition’s strategy. It is believed that during this meeting, the strategy of the opposition regarding the big political war of 2024 will also be discussed. Mamta is trying to become the face of the opposition, while the Congress does not seem ready for it. Regional parties are also seen chanting a different melody.

Suspense on meeting Sonia

Mamta’s recent tussle with the Congress has increased over the Vice-President’s election. Senior Congress leader Margaret Alva has been nominated for the Vice Presidential election. After Alva’s name was decided, there was a big allegation that TMC did not consult in the matter of deciding the candidate. The party has announced to abstain from the vice-presidential election. Alva expressed disappointment over this decision of Mamta and appealed to her to reconsider. However, Mamta has not yet given any reply on this issue.

In such a situation, all eyes are on whether Mamta meets Congress President Sonia Gandhi during her visit to Delhi or not. Sources in Congress and TMC say that no program of Mamata’s meeting with Sonia has been fixed yet. Although in the past, Mamta has been meeting many leaders without any program.

Party MPs will be encouraged

Seven members of the Trinamool Congress were suspended in the Rajya Sabha due to the uproar. Trinamool Congress has opened a front against the Modi government on various issues during the monsoon session of Parliament. In such a situation, Mamta will encourage them during the meeting with the MPs of the party. During this meeting, the strategy to be adopted against the Modi government will also be discussed.
