Mission 2024: Nitish will meet many opposition leaders even today, but how will the talk be made on the face of the opposition

Mission 2024: After playing a big political game in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has reached Delhi on a three-day tour. On Monday, after reaching Delhi, he first met former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Even today, Nitish Kumar has to have talks with many big leaders of the opposition. Nitish has been saying time and again that his aim is to mobilize the opposition and defeat the BJP in the war of 2024. He says that I have started my campaign for this big fight.

After reaching Delhi, Nitish Kumar has made it clear that he has no desire to become the Prime Minister. By the way, this statement of Nitish Kumar is being considered as part of a well-thought-out strategy. If you put forward your claim first, the matter of opposition unity can get spoiled. This is the reason why Nitish is taking a whirlwind step in this matter. However, due to the different voices of opposition parties, political pundits believe that deciding the face of the opposition against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the war of 2024 will not be an easy task.

Agreed in meeting with Rahul

After reaching Delhi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar first discussed the strategy to defeat the BJP with Rahul Gandhi. However, no statement has been made by both the leaders regarding the talks. By the way, it is clear from the body language and smiling faces of both the leaders that the conversation took place in a good atmosphere. Congress sources say that in the talks between the two leaders, it has been agreed that like-minded parties will have to come on one platform to defeat the BJP.

To oust the BJP from power, the opposition will have to unite and challenge Modi. Nitish Kumar has been making it clear time and again that his aim is to bring the opposition leaders on one platform and prepare the opposition for a strong fight against the BJP. He had also clearly said in JDU’s national executive meeting that if the opposition unites, the BJP can be included in 50 seats.

Nitish will meet many big opposition leaders

Nitish Kumar, who arrived in Delhi on his three-day tour, has a program of talks with many big leaders of the opposition. Sources associated with JDU say that during his Delhi visit, Nitish Kumar will meet Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Janata Dal Secular chief and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. All these leaders will have a big role in the political war of 2024. This is the reason why Nitish wants to churn deeply on the solidarity of the opposition with these leaders.

Nitish Kumar may also meet Samajwadi Party President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Nitish Kumar also intends to meet Left leaders. However, it has not yet been clarified by Nitish Kumar as to which leaders he will meet in Delhi.

Nitish has discussed with KCR

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has arrived in Delhi after meeting Telangana Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. KCR had recently reached Patna to meet Nitish Kumar. Apart from Nitish, during his Patna visit, KCR also spoke to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

He even described Nitish Kumar as the best leader of the opposition. However, when the question arose about the post of Prime Minister, he said that when the time comes, this issue will be resolved by sitting together. On the other hand, Nitish stood up from the press conference when this question arose.

Discussion on opposition’s strategy with Lalu Yadav

Before leaving for Delhi tour, Nitish had met RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday. State Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav was also present during this. Informed sources say that Nitish has discussed the strategy to unite the opposition parties with Lalu. After meeting Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar said that we and Lalu Yadav are all people of the same ideology and we have had the same ideology on all issues.

What are the difficulties in opposition unity

Nitish Kumar has started work on the campaign to unite the opposition parties, but the question of the opposition’s face is still unresolved. The party has started working on a strategy to project Rahul Gandhi against Modi through the recent Hallabol rally of Congress at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Now the party is also trying to strengthen Rahul’s claim through Bharat Jodo Yatra.

On the other hand, KCR is also indicating his entry into national politics. TMC leaders are busy raising the name of Mamta, while the Aam Aadmi Party clearly says that the political battle of 2024 will be of Modi vs Kejriwal. In such a situation, it may prove difficult for Nitish Kumar to mobilize the opposition.

Meeting with former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy

After meeting Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, he met former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. Political pundits say that he discussed tea with Rahul to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Will have lunch with the Chief Minister of Delhi today. Sources are telling that the opposition will try to include him in the campaign of unity. CM Nitish Kumar is on a three-day political tour. He will meet CPI General Secretary D Raja earlier this afternoon. After this, we will have lunch with Kejriwal. Will meet with family members of Omprakash Chautala in the evening. After this, on 7 September, he will also meet the President and the Vice-President.

Here, CM Nitish Kumar said, ‘I have no such desire. All I want is that all the opposition parties should come together and fight against the BJP. BJP is trying to weaken regional parties. Nitish Kumar claimed that the BJP will be reduced to 50 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. If all the opposition parties fight together. I am engaged in this campaign.

At the same time, on Nitish’s visit to Delhi, former JDU national president RCP Singh said that Nitish Kumar has done the work of deceiving the public. That Sushil Modi taunted that he will soon be disappointed with the Grand Alliance-02 and when his conscience says something, then even after rubbing his nose, the doors of BJP will not open for him. BJP’s doors are now closed for Nitish Kumar.
