There is a possibility of good rain in many states of the country even today. Kerala has received heavy rains in recent days and the Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of heavy rain in many parts of the state today. People may have to face heavy rains in some areas. According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Kerala, there is a possibility of good rains in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh today. Rain has also been forecast in many areas of UP, Bihar and Jharkhand today. Like Friday, there may be rain in the capital Delhi.

Chances of rain in these states

The process of rain in Kerala is not going to end yet. According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain with heavy rain over Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, South Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, parts of Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during next 24 hours is likely to occur.

Light to moderate rain is very likely over Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, South Chhattisgarh, West Madhya Pradesh, parts of Bihar, Northeast India, Punjab, Haryana and Jharkhand. Light rain is possible over Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, North Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Tamil Nadu.

Kerala weather today

Like the previous days, rain will continue in Kerala today. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in some districts, while heavy rains have been predicted in many districts. Due to the heavy rains in the recent past, the problems of the people living in many areas have increased. This time during June-July in Jammu and Kashmir, the highest rainfall has been recorded in 122 years. The state has received 107% excess rainfall during these two months.

During these two months, Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, recorded the highest rainfall since 1921. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many areas of UP today. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of western Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of being kind to the monsoon in some parts of Bihar. Light to moderate rain will occur in some parts of Uttarakhand today while heavy rain may occur in some areas.

Rainy season will continue in Delhi (Delhi Weather Today)

Heavy rains lashed Delhi and NCR on Friday morning. In the adjoining areas of Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad too, due to heavy rains in the morning, people going to and from office had to face a lot of problems. Due to waterlogging in many areas, the problem of traffic jam has also arisen.

It has been raining in Delhi for the last several days and the Meteorological Department believes that this period may continue till August 8. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of cloudy sky and light to moderate rain in the capital today. Due to rain, the temperature has dropped and people have got relief from the heat.

Heavy rain in Rajasthan today

Various parts of Rajasthan have received good rains during the last several days. About 96 mm of rain has been recorded during the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department says that this phase of monsoon activity in the state will continue even further.

At present, there is a possibility of good rain in the state for two-three days. During this time, people may also have to face heavy rains in some parts of the state. Record breaking rain has been recorded in Rajasthan during the month of July after 66 years.
