On the other hand, the rain has disturbed the gaiety of the festival. Due to heavy rains in many areas of Bengal, the celebration of Durga Puja has been affected. In the coming days also, there is a possibility of rain in many states of the country. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of heavy rain in West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and Kerala today.

Light to moderate rain is expected in East Uttar Pradesh today while heavy rains are likely in various districts of East Uttar Pradesh from October 5 to 7. Light rain has been forecast for West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on October 6 and 7. The arrangement of beautifully decorated Durga Puja pandals in various states of the country has also been affected due to the rains. The festivities of Navami and Dashami will also be affected due to rain.

There will be heavy rain in these states today

Weather experts say that there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of the country during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rain is very likely over Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today.

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain may occur over Northeast India, Interior Odisha, parts of Chhattisgarh and Konkan and Goa. Light rain is expected over East Uttar Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Lakshadweep.

Weather of UP and Uttarakhand

Many states of North India have not received good rains this time during the monsoon season, but in the farewell time, many states including Delhi and UP have received good rains. Once again a rain alert has been issued in many states by the Meteorological Department. Light rain may occur over West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on 6th and 7th October. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be very heavy rains in Uttarakhand during these days. Moderate to heavy rains have been forecast in East Uttar Pradesh from October 5 to 7.

Heavy rain will occur in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha

Rainfall is likely to continue for several days over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of Andhra Pradesh on October 4 and 5. Heavy rains have also been predicted in Telangana on October 5 and 6.

An alert of heavy rain has been issued in Odisha for the next four-five days. There is also a possibility of lightning in many areas of the state during this period. According to weather experts, the weather in the state has been disturbed due to the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal.

Impact on the gaiety of Durga Puja in Bengal

Due to the havoc of Corona epidemic for two years, this time Durga Puja is showing more enthusiasm in West Bengal, but due to rain, the color of the festival seems to be disturbed. In the last two days of rain, people had to face difficulties in many areas of the state including Kolkata. Heavy rain has also been predicted in the coming days in different parts of West Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a cyclonic circulation over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the rains will continue in different parts of the state in the coming days as well.

Rain forecast in Delhi too

There is also a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR this week. The Meteorological Department says that light rain may occur in some areas of Delhi today. The rain activities are expected to increase from October 5. However, there is no chance of heavy rain on Wednesday. Rains will continue in the capital on Thursday and Friday as well. Light rain is expected in Delhi on Thursday while moderate rain is likely on Friday. The Meteorological Department says that due to rain, the temperature of Delhi will also drop significantly.
