Several states of the Northeast including Assam have received heavy rains in the past. Weather experts say that this period of rain will continue even today. There is a possibility of rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur today.

People are suffering due to heat and humidity in Delhi

The people of the capital Delhi remained unaffected by the heat and humidity on Friday. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal. The monsoon system has weakened in the capital Delhi. Due to this, there is no chance of rain for the next four-five days. According to the Meteorological Department, there was very little rain in Delhi during the month of August and now even during the month of September, the monsoon activities in Delhi are looking very weak.
