Kia Sonet Facelift Teaser: Kia Motors has released the second teaser image of its new generation Sonet for the Indian market, in which the company has confirmed that it will be introduced in the Indian market with ADAS technology. Kia Sonet is going to be the second SUV in the sub-compact SUV segment, which will be introduced with ADAS technology. The first in the Indian market is Hyundai Venue N Line, which comes to the Indian market with Level 1 ADAS technology.

According to the new teaser image that has surfaced, the Kia Sonet is going to get a connected LED tail light unit with stop lamp and a great design at the rear. Earlier, another teaser image of the same was revealed, in which all the information about its front profile was given.

It is going to get LED headlight and fog light unit with new L shaped LED DRL at the front. Apart from this, the side profile is going to be offered with newly designed alloy wheels.

On the inside, the cabin is going to be kept quite simple and smart. Its cabin is going to remind you a lot of the full generation, although this is being powered with a new entertainment system. Along with this, we expect to get a cabin theme with new leather seats and shop touches in many places in the cabin.

Kia Sonet Facelift Safety Features
For safety features, it will be powered by Level 1 ADAS technology which includes front and rear collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, derailment warning, recovery and high beam assist. Other safety features include 6 airbags as standard and electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hail assist and a 360-degree camera along with front and rear parking sensors.
Kia Sonet Facelift Engine
Under the bonnet, it will continue to be powered by the current engine options. However, according to some media reports, it will now get a regular six-speed manual transmission in the diesel engine instead of the iMT gearbox. Below is the information about the engine options.

The price of the new generation Kia Sonet is going to be premium over the current price. It is expected that its price will start around Rs 8 lakh ex-showroom. Its delivery is also going to start in 2024.

The new generation Kia Sonet is going to be launched in the Indian market on 14 December 2023, and its booking will also be started in the Indian market soon after that. However, currently its booking is being done unofficially at some dealerships.
