Kanpur. Paytm on Tuesday launched an all-in-one payment gateway that can help small and medium businesses (SMEs) make digital payments in multiple ways. The aim of launching this new product is to give tough competition to Google Pay, Amazon Pay and Phone Pay in the market. The company has introduced a new all-in-one payment gateway and business solutions as well as an Android-based point of sale (POS) machine. Launching these products, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder, Paytm in Bengaluru said, 'Today, we are announcing our all in one payment gateway and business payment solutions for SMEs. These services will help a lot in growing their business and digital payments will help in taking the digital economy of the country forward.

Will accept all types of payments

Sharma further said, over the last 18 months, we have spent a lot of time understanding the needs of digital payments in small businesses. We will continue to enhance features to address their challenges. He said the new features and product launched on Tuesday will provide an opportunity to add 10 million merchants over the next 12-18 months. Sharma said merchants were looking for solutions that could not only accept all forms of payments (UPI, cards and wallets), but were also comfortable to use. He said that Paytm's Android-based POS machine will be about 20-30 percent cheaper and better than the products of other companies.
