13 years ago, Dhoni created history, made India the World Champion of T20

new Delhi: In most of the occasions against Pakistan in ICC tournaments, Team India has the upper hand, but the victory on September 24, 13 years ago was the biggest and special among them. In fact, on this day, in the T20 World Cup final held for the first time, India had defeated Pakistan in the exciting match till the last over and got their name written on the title. In the absence of the veterans, the title of Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) was also started with this title win with young cricketers.

The Pakistani team, chasing the target, Imran Nazir scored 28 runs off 14 balls and experienced Younis Khan (24 runs off 24 balls) but Irfan Pathan (3 wickets for 16 runs in 4 overs) Irfan Pathan) and RP Singh (RP Singh), who took 3 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs, diluted the condition of the Pakistani team. The ball was given to Harbhajan Singh or the ball was given to fast bowler Joginder Sharma who could not make an impact in the match. Dhoni surprised everyone by choosing another option.

Dhoni’s unique bet was successful
When Joginder threw the first ball wide, everyone started criticizing Dhoni’s decision. The next ball was empty. On the second valid ball of the over, Misbah hit a six. The match was over. But in the greed to pull Joginder’s next ball over the fine leg fielder through the scoop, Misbah caught a catch, which was caught by S.
