1992 World Cup jersey unlucky for India, proved to be superstition of fans

new Delhi: The first ODI played between India and Australia (IND VS AUS) completely dominated the Kangaroos. In the match, Indian bowlers were dusted off by Australian batsmen and made a huge score of 374 runs. This is also Australia’s highest score in ODIs against India. In response, Team India could only score 308 runs and the Kangaroos named the match by 66 runs.

In this match, Team India will be seen wearing a new jersey. The jersey worn in this series was worn during the 1992 World Cup. The color of the jersey is dark blue and there are shades of purple, green, red and white near the shoulders.

The Indian team proved to be a complete flop in the 1992 World Cup. There were 9 teams playing in that tournament and India finished seventh that year. Therefore many superstitions believed that these are not good signs and the performance of Team India may be affected.

However, this was the first match of the series and there are two matches of the ODI series. So it is not right to say anything right now.
