Thiruvananthapuram: The Government of Kerala announced a two-day mourning on Thursday in the state’s sports arena in honor of Argentina’s legendary footballer Diego Maradona. Maradona died of a heart attack on Wednesday. After Maradona’s death, Kerala Sports Minister EP Jayarajan (Sports Minister EP Jayarajan) has announced a 2-day mourning in Kerala (Kerala) to pay tribute to him. At the same time, the Government of Goa will install a large statue of Maradona in the coastal area early next year.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed condolences on the death of Diego Maradona on Wednesday, saying that Maradona fans across the world will feel the lack of this great player.
On his death, Cricket Board of India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly also tweeted and wrote that I was no more a hero. My Mad Genius Rest in Peace. I used to watch football for you. Let us tell you that Ganguly played a charity match with Maradona in Kolkata in 2017.
