Accidentally done to Shahid Afridi, now the first two matches will not be played in LPL 2020!

Lahore Pakistan’s all-rounder Shahid Afridi missed a flight to Sri Lanka, leaving him with at least the first two matches of his franchise Gaul Gladiators in the early Lanka Premier League 2020.

Former Pakistan captain Afridi tweeted about the incident in which the trouble of organizing the tournament increased further as many big players have already withdrawn from it.

Afridi (Shahid Afridi) wrote on his Twitter handle, ‘Missed the flight to Colombo this morning. Not to worry, I will soon be attending LPL to participate on behalf of Gaul Gladiators. Willing to join teammates soon.

Gaul Gladiators were scheduled to play their first match against the stallion on 27 November, while the second and third matches were to be played on 28 and 30 November respectively.

Afridi (Shahid Afridi) was named captain of the Gaul Gladiators as Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga and Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed were not available due to lack of preparations and commitments to the national team respectively.
