Aamir said, ‘It was a very difficult decision for me but I felt that the time has come when one should not be silent. I took this decision to raise this issue and to make people aware of the truth.
He said, ‘After retiring from Test cricket he kept himself available for limited overs matches but when the current team management took over, he was ignored despite the good performance.’
Aamir said, “I was definitely hurt when he did not choose me among the 35 players for the New Zealand tour. If I were just focusing on playing in the league, I would not mind being dropped from the New Zealand tour and I would not even react.
