Team India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah tweeted his picture and said, ‘The vaccine has started. Everyone should be safe. Bumrah is part of the Indian Test team for the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand next month and then the tour of England.

Earlier on May 6, opener Shikhar Dhawan had administered the first dose of Corona vaccine. After that, captain Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma have also got vaccinated. Head coach Ravi Shastri got vaccinated in March itself.
