Dubai: Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja became the first player to score 2000 runs and take 110 wickets in the IPL. Jadeja had scored an innings of 50 runs from 35 balls in the match played against Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday. In this innings, he hit 2 sixes and 5 fours.

Apart from this, Jadeja is the fourth cricketer to score 2000 runs and take more than 50 wickets in the league. In this case, he has joined the list of Shane Watson, Kieron Pollard, Jacques Kallis.
Jadeja said in a statement, ‘I am happy to be the first cricketer to achieve this double achievement in IPL history. It will motivate me to work harder. I hope my family and the viewers who like cricket will be proud of me.
31-year-old Jadeja has played a total of 176 matches so far in the IPL. He has played 106 matches with Chennai Super Kings, 27 with Gujarat Lions, 14 with Kochi Tuskers and 27 with Rajasthan Royals. If Ravindra Jadeja is called a successful all-rounder, it will not be wrong at all.
