Has defeated Sri Lanka by 103 runs under Duckworth-Louis rule to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Bangladesh’s team won the toss, batting first, and Mushfiqur’s 125 off 127 balls with the help of 10 fours, scored 246 runs in 48.1 overs. During the 39th over of Sri Lanka’s innings, chasing the target, rain disrupted the match and the game had to be stopped.
The game resumed after some time and the match was reduced to 40 overs. Sri Lanka’s team could only manage 141 runs for nine wickets in 40 overs. Bangladesh also won their first bilateral series against Sri Lanka.
