The Board of Control for Cricket in India has earned about 4 thousand crore rupees from this tournament held in UAE. With this, there has been a 25 percent increase in the number of TV viewers. In this IPL, about 20 thousand RT-PCR Covid tests were done for 1800 people. This is the reason why all 60 matches were conducted without any hassle.

In the wake of Coronavirus, the government allowed training in Dubai after 7 days of quarantine. But 14 days of quarantine was mandatory in Abu Dhabi, this venue was made the home ground of Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. The BCCI had reduced this quarantine period by talking to the Abu Dhabi administration.
