B’day Special: This bowler bowled Sachin in his last Ranji match

new Delhi: Fast bowler Mohit Sharma, playing in the IPL for Delhi Capitals, is celebrating his 32nd birthday today. Do you know that Mohit has a big achievement in the account of bowling the great master blaster Sachin Tendulkar (Sachin Tendulkar) in his last Ranji Trophy match. Mohit Sharma, who has played many matches for India, had registered his name in cricket history forever through this feat.

The match was played at the Lahli ground in Rohtak

Mohit Sharma became the real hero
Despite Joginder’s bowling, Mohit Sharma became the real hero, who took one of his 2 wickets for master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Playing for just 5 runs, Sachin tried to defend Mohit’s off-stump ball by moving forward, but the ball bounced more than expected, hit his elbow and lifted it straight up his stump.

This was the biggest wicket of his career for Mohit. However, in the second innings, Sachin played fiercely in front of the 240-run target from Haryana and scored a notorious 79 out of 175 balls to win Mumbai by 4 wickets.

Mumbai was defeated in UAE
The bugle of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is now just one day away. This time, the competition is going to be in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) instead of India. The first match will be between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. But do you know that the inaugural match between these two teams has been held on UAE soil even 6 years ago.

Due to the Lok Sabha elections in India that season, the first 20 matches of the IPL were played in the UAE, in which the two teams clashed in Dubai. In that match, Mohit Sharma contributed to his fast bowling by taking 4 wickets for 14 runs in Chennai Super Kings victory. This match was won by Chennai with one over remaining.

Purple cap was won in IPL-2014
Mohit made his debut for Chennai Super Kings in IPL-2013. In that season, he took 20 wickets at an economy rate of 6.43. This included the performance of 3 wickets for 10 runs against Delhi Daredevils. But in the next season, due to his special ‘Knuckle Ball’, Mohit created panic by taking 23 wickets.

This is still the record for the highest wicket taken by an uncapped bowler in a season. In this season, apart from taking 4 wickets for 14 runs against Mumbai, he also had the feat of joining the few Indian bowlers who won the Purple Cap to take the most wickets. After this performance, Mohit also got a chance to wear the cap of Team India.
