The players refused to get the vaccine

After the postponement of IPL 2021, there has been a big revelation that, before this big league, players refused to take the Kovid vaccine, after which one player got infected by the epidemic. According to a report in the Times of India, when all the franchisees offered to vaccinate their players, many players did not show interest in it. Players later became infected with Corona due to lack of awareness.

Further in this report, two franchises had managed to convince their players to get vaccinated, but all the others failed. The players feared that getting the vaccine would cause them fever. The players also believed that they are safe in the bio-bubble, so no more pressure was put on anyone. The source further said that foreign players had definitely shown interest in getting the vaccine, but this was not possible due to legal reasons.
